Transport Protocols Evaluation: MATLAB Workstation vs. Simulink

Regarding importance and role of TCP and UDP protocols in network to respond better to real-time applications, many software provides situations for comparisons. In fact, these evaluations help us respond better to demands of network. On the other hand, accuracy provided by software used is a vital criterion that cannot be dismissed. In this work, the accuracy assessment of MATLAB workstation and MATLAB Simulink for the main protocols of transport layer including TCP and UDP is considered. To evaluate truly, metrics throughput, loss ratio, delay, jitter are assessed with congestions made to network by 0.1 seconds and 0.01 seconds intervals.
