Abstract:
Due to the importance of environmental pollution and growing awareness about environmental protection, organizations and industries have to implement environmental methods such as green supply chain management (GSCM) to improve their environmental and economic performance. The purpose of this study is to identify and prioritize the affecting factors in implementation of green supply chain management in an active plant in Iran vegetable oil industry. The method of study is descriptive-survey and according to the purpose, it is applicable. By reviewing the research literature and consulting with experts, the essential executive actions to achieve green supply chain management were identified. By interviewing with experts, the importance of them was determined and the necessary information was collected. Eventually executive actions were prioritized by Expert Choice software based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. According to the research results, the most important executive actions are respectively internal environmental management of plant , improving environmental performance in the field of production process and non-productive resources management . The results of this study can help decision-makers and industry managers to implement green supply chain management.
