Abstract:

The Taleghan watershed is one of the important area to water supply for agriculture in Ghazvin area and water demand in Tehran. Snowmelt can be produce peak and maximum discharges in this area, therefore SRM model introduce to calibrate, simulation and evaluation of model to predict trend and volume of snow melt runoff in Taleghan watershed and finally compare measured and computed hydrograph to each other. In this way variable, parameters and watershed characteristics is requested. Input data including rainfall, Temperature and snow cowered area. The model calibrated for three years including, wet, normal and dry years. Then the final parameter which is extracted was used to simulate and evaluate for other three years with the same conditions. The result shows a suitable coincidence of two hydrograph in calibration and also volume of runoff for wet and normal years. But it is not able to predict maximum and peak discharge exactly. In coincidence the result shows good coincidence in summer and fall seasons for dry year. It didn t show the same result in other seasons of years. Keywords: SRM, Snowmelt, Model, Taleghan.
