Abstract:
Coincidence of wheat sensitive growing stages (grain filling period) irrigation with spring crops planting causes the wheat yield to cope with moisture deficit stress. To investigate the effect of limited irrigation on yield and its ~omponts and determining tolerance genotypes to stress, 20 promising lines were'studred in two Separate experiments using completely randomized block design with 3 replications in non stress and stress conditions for two years (2000-2002) in Khorrama1:'Ad statiM. In this expermeni-ecombining analysis was done ongrein, yield. and other traits resistance iridexes' to drought in eluding stress suceptibility inqex (SSI) , stress tolerance (tol) , Mean' productivity (MP) , Geometric mean product:ivity (GMP) and stress tolerance index (STI) were calculated. . I ! Coeffieient of correlation of yield component~ and resistance indexes to drought with grain yield were determined. The resualts showed that: The year effect in stress condition was not significant for spiki1e numberl 1112 , plant high : pedankellength and in non stress condition il was significan,t for grain yield, biomas : pedanke11ength , sikLe and grain number 1m2. Interaction effect of year xgenotypes in non stress condition ,vas significant for days 10maturity , pedankel length, plant high and in stress conditiori it was not significant for all traits. . The difference between genotypes was not significant for bi
