Spatial distribution pattern of Hypera postica (Col.: Curculionidae) in west Azerbaijan province

Alfalfa leaf weevil (ALW), Hypera postica (Gyllenhal) is a great pest of alfalfa. Knowledge about the pest’s distribution and dispersal patterns leads to better management. Therefore, spatial distribution of ALW was surveyed in west Azerbaijan province in 2018 with two sampling levels of plant and quadrate by Taylor's and Iwao's regression models. Both regression models showed random distribution based on data of all dates in both sampling levels. Except of first and last date with random distribution, aggregation indices as well as goodness of fit test showed aggregative pattern at least in half of samples.
