Inorganic Nanoparticles And Their Application In Drug Delivery Systems

Drug delivery systems are being used widely in various parts of medical science from the most common type, which is tablets, to nanoparticles, which are more preferred because of their important properties. Although nanoparticles, which are divided into organic and inorganic nanoparticles, have some drawbacks, they are preferred because of using lower doses of them compared to other ways of drug delivery; for example, Inorganic nanoparticles had significant effects in cancer treatment. This article aims at providing a general introduction of inorganic nanoparticles, their types, advantages, disadvantages, and application in drug delivery systems.
