Abstract:
Technological progresses are seen in many industries as well as in various oil and gas branches, such as exploration, drilling, enhanced oil recovery of reservoirs, and refining. In the meantime, the use of nanotechnology is growing rapidly, making a significant contribution to researches and developments. In this paper, the mechanism of the effect of Alumina, Silica, and Titania nanofluids on enhanced oil recovery and new developments and achievements in this field is discussed. The results show that these nanofluids have the ability to enhance the recovery methods by improving viscosity, surface tension and wettability and stability.
