Abstract:
Tube hydroforming is a process that has been considered inrecent years for the production of Integrated and seamless weldsparts. Also, tailor welded blanks today have many applications,especially in the automotive industry, and their application isconstantly increasing. Therefore, study the process of forming thesetypes of sheets can be effective in improvements and upgrades of thequality of parts in various industries. The purpose of this paper is toinvestigate the influence of hydroforming die parameters such as thelength of the bulge and the radius of the die on the thicknessdistribution, environmental strain distribution, in the experimentalstudy, tubular bulge testing was carried out using a hydroformingtube process. The results show that with increasing die radius, theformability of the tailor welded tubing is also increased. Also, withthe increase in the length of the bulge, the thickness distributioninterval increased along the tube and improved the process.
