Abstract:
Corrosion is an inherent procedure that transforms a reformed metal into a rather chemically stable shape such as oxide, hydroxide, or sulfide. It is the slow demolition of materials -generally a metal- by electrochemical reaction or chemical reaction with their ambience. Corrosion in its different types, is one of most important and most common problems in nuclear industries. This harmful problem causes to severe damages and negative consequences to nuclear reactors operations and related equipment. Most corrosion in nuclear reactor occurs in fluid coolant equipment, that its result is the destruction of cooling systems metallic components. In this new paper, it is studied a review on done investigations in the field of corrosion in nuclear reactors. This review relates to various experimental investigations.
