Abstract:
The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between personality traits and job satisfaction of employees of Kaveh Soda Maragheh Company using descriptive and correlational research methods. The sample size was ۱۹۴ people who were selected through stratified random sampling. Measurement tools included Barry Field and Worth questionnaire to assess job satisfaction and NEO-FFI personality questionnaire. The results were obtained using SPSS software and Pearson correlation coefficient statistical methods. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between conscientiousness, extraversion and pleasantness with job satisfaction. There was a significant negative relationship between neuroticism and job satisfaction. But there was no significant relationship between flexibility and job satisfaction.
