Abstract:

Chef Koochooloo platform introduces a gamified educational platform for classroom and home usage for teaching children math, science, and global competency through an interactive application and enrichment program. By this approach, it is ensured that the targeted interests of students are met, and they can get exposure to various problems with hands-on experience. Furthermore, the students may gain a sense of competence and skill which will encourage them to create, modify, and improve recipes. The Chef Koochooloo project considers the fusion of home-based funds of knowledge, diverse representation, and academic coursework as an equity-based, culturally-responsive learning approach for elementary and middle school students.
