The Mirage of Panic in Viet than Neguen’s the Refugees

Nowadays, threats of different types assign the spirit of panic on humanity which has turned out to be a great existential obsession for the postmodern man. In this paper, I detected the theme of horror and panic in Neguen’s work Refugees. The research basing its approach on the content analysis of the story and his own experience of war, has tried to find answer to the prevalence of the common theme of the novel and the detection of the background, if any, behind the formation of this theme in Neguen’s fiction. The paper has revealed the prevalence of the dominating theme of panic and uncertainty in his fiction and determined the underlying features upon the social and political rationale behind its formation. The paper highlights some post modern concepts like soul and a few more to detect the origin of the threat and concludes that works of fiction like Neguen’s Refugees pave the way for the eradication of the threats on the way of humanity and they have done their role to the best on the line of their literary endeavor.
