Evaluation of personality disorders in people with sexual identity disorder

Objective: The purpose of this study was to review personality disorders in individuals with sexual identity disorders from various internal and external sources in the past few years.Research Method: The present research method was review-library. Keywords of personality disorders, mental disorders and sexual identity disorders in the search engines of Persian Articles Bank include scientific information database (SID), Normags, Magiran and Civilica and foreign articles bank including Google Scholar, PubMed, Springer, Science Direct and Scopus was searched between ۲۰۰۰ and ۲۰۲۱, and selected articles were selected for this study.Results: Research findings indicate numerous studies by domestic and foreign researchers on the subject of personality disorders. The results showed that personality disorders, especially narcissistic personality disorder and a display of common personality disorders in people with sexual identity disorder.Conclusion: Personality disorders are more common in people with sexual identity disorders than normal people. Therefore, in the treatment of this sexual disorder, personality variables and disorders should be considered.
