Abstract:
Biological contaminants include zooplankton, bacteria, viruses, fungi, insect pupae, rotifers, and protozoa. These microorganisms can contaminate various sources such as water, air, and food. Therefore, studying them is very important. Contamination by biological contaminants can be managed with various approaches such as: filtering, adding chemical and biological drugs and changing growth conditions. Biotechnology also can play important role in this area as its methods are efficient and safe. Biological contaminants can be controlled through biological methods and biotechnology has many tools in this field.
