Abstract:

Suppliers can be considered as inevitable sources of external risks in modern supplychains. In this context, resilience that stands for the adaptive capability to respond todisruptions and recovering from it needs to be considered in supplier selection. Butselection of suppliers is a challenging issue that involves the evaluation of both qualitativeand quantitative attributes, in usual have imprecise and limited information. Grey relationalanalysis based on linguistic assessment of supplier rating and attribute weightings couldjudiciously be used under these situations to obtain a set of possibility values forprioritizing supplier selection. Nowadays, The selection of suppliers who can withstandmore uncertainty and resilience and deliver the goods and services at the time specified bythe customer is considered necessary for the organization. The purpose of this research isto evaluate the resilience of the supply chain in Mobarakeh Steel Co., Isfahan. To this end,the theoretical framework has first emerged from a comprehensive literature review andresearch on the resilience of the supply chain. With the help of this framework, theresiliency criteria of the supply chain were extracted and, according to experts, the criteriawere confirmed. Then, using the DEMATEL method, the relationships between the indicesand sub-indices were determined and using the ANP method, the importance of each of thecriteria was determined. Among the criteria, the sub-criteria of agility, addiction, and riskmanagement culture have the highest weight. At the end, they have been ranked by theGrey ARAS of the suppliers of Mobarakeh Steel Co. in terms of the degree of viability,and the supplier of Behran is considered at the highest rating.
