Abstract:

Due to its special properties, circular polarization (CP) has been taken into account in many applications. For receivers that work with linearly polarized antennas that move in different directions due to movement or vibration, circular polarization is important. This is typical of mobile receivers such as ships and airplanes. On the other hand, since right-hand circular polarisation (RHCP) and left-hand circular polarization (LHCP) are orthogonal and isolated from each other, the RHCP antenna has no effect on LHCP, which we can mention, in that the CP frequency resources can be reused. By using CP we can eliminate multipath fading that occurs when receiving signals. Also, we need to use CP in satellite communications due to Faraday rotation. In this paper, a new circularly polarized square slot antenna (CPSSA) for Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) applications was designed and manufactured. The proposed antenna not only has an axis ratio of ۳۵۰۰ MHz, but is also small in size. The proposed antenna was made on FR۴ with dimensions of ۲۵ * ۲۵ * ۱ mm۳.
