Abstract:
Cds nanostructures were first synthesized via a simple and co-precipitation method.Then Addition of Ag impurities was investigated by doping in these nanoparticles .The prepared products were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The photocatalytic behaviour of Ag doped cadmium sulphide nanoparticles were evaluated using the degradation of two azo dyes acid blue and methyl orange under ultraviolet light irradiation. The results introduce a nanoparticles photocatalytic performance.
