Abstract:
Nowadays, due to the big challenges such as rapid increasing in energy demand, high cost and depletion of fossil fuels and concernsabout environmental issues ex parte, renewable energy sources such as wind and solar become more and more attractive. Due to the facility ofproduction and utilization of the PV system, they are growing extensively in renewable energy usage all over the world. For the better consumptionof solar energy a high reliable, low cost, design are required for the PV integrated high step up topologies. In this paper, an asymmetrical interleavedhigh step-up converter was proposed and the proposed converter has the ability to attach a PV array and to function as an active clamp circuit byalleviating large voltage spikes across the power switches. The prototype circuit with a ۴۰-V input voltage, ۳۸۰-V output, and ۱۰۰۰- W power isoperated to verify its performance. The highest efficiency reaches to ۹۶.۸%.
