Abstract:
The aim of this study was to investigate the factors affecting jaundice in infants. The present study is an applied research and in terms of method is also descriptive-survey. The statistical population of this study is ۳۰ pediatricians in one of the pediatric hospitals in Iran. Due to the small size of the population, the sample size is ۳۰ people and the sampling method is a total number. In this study, the required data were collected using an ۱۸-item questionnaire. In thisstudy, the validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by experts and in order to determine the reliability, Cronbach's alpha method was used, which obtained the validity and reliability of. /۷۴۶ and. /۷۶۹. Then k-s test and one-sample t-test were used and data were analyzed by SPSS software. The results showed that lack of breastfeeding, ABO incompatibility, G۶PD deficiency and family history are the factors affecting jaundice in infants from the judgmental point ofview of this statistical population.
