Abstract:

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between Corona Health Anxiety and Emotion Expression Styles, Self-Attribution and Early Maladaptive Schemas of students in university.Methods: The study population was all students of Hamadan Branch of Azad University in the academic year ۲۰۲۰-۲۰۲۱. According to Krejcie and Morgan table, ۳۸۳ people were selected by cluster sampling. Data were collected from the Salcosis and Warwick (۲۰۰۲) Health Anxiety Questionnaire, King and Emmons (۱۹۹۰) Emotional Expressions (Emotional Expressions), Patterson, Van Bayer, Seligman, and Self-Assessment (Attributive Styles). Et al. (۱۹۸۲) and early maladaptive schemas of Young (۱۹۹۱) short form were used.Results: Statistical data analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression were analyzed by stepwise method using SPSS software version ۲۵. Findings showed that health anxiety is related to emotion expression styles, self-attribution and early maladaptive schemas.Conclusion: The results showed that self-attribution styles have a significant relationship with symptoms of health anxiety. Internal, stable, and general self-attribution styles are positively and directly, and external, unstable, and specific self-attribution styles are negatively related to individuals' mental health. Humans are formed in a person's mind and are repeated in the course of life, showing a negative and significant relationship with health anxiety during life.
