Abstract:

In recent centuries , statistics of disabled people have been a significant growth due to various events.but, the therapeutic places related to children with disabilities have been considered less than other places. Design the synergies rehabilitation centers for children can improve the conditions of the children with disabilities because of considering the needs of these children. Attention to social sustainability aspect and considering the broader concepts of social equality , appropriate distribution, and equal facilities for all segments of society are effective in designing the rehabilitation centers of the children with disabilities. Now, the question is: what characteristics of the social sustainability affect on the design of the children's rehabilitation center? To answer this question, the process of the present study is: Understanding the social sustainability concepts, different frameworks, and achieving a pattern in designing of the synergy rehabilitation center of children with disabilities. Also, in this study, the effectiveness of social sustainability factors in the design of medical centers for children with disabilities and the appropriate design methods are studied. Finally, by investigating the resources, it has been found that the most appropriate method is to design a place with considering the cultural identity and equality in the design, so that the therapeutic needs of the children with disabilities are considered according to each age range. Moreover, according to the initially defined pattern, it can be used the different methods to design a joyful and pleasant place for children.
