Abstract:

In this paper, we introduce an ion-sensitive field-effect transistor (ISFET) which employs microfluidic technology to efficiently for body sweat analysis and measurement of sodium ion concentration. Due to the being of sodium ions in the structure of body sweat, is designed an ISFET sensor of sensitivity to sodium ions. Also in this paper is improved ISFET sensor performance with simulation of the microfluidic channel, is improved the sensor performance. By applying a voltage to the electrodes located on the walls of the microchannel the electroosmotic flow is induced inside the microchannel. Consequently, turbulence in the fluid flow in the channel has occurred that effectively moves the intended analytes toward the sensor surface. Also, with simulation of ISFET sensor in comsol software, is investigated the output diagrams in different modes.
