Abstract:

Nowadays, Cubesats play an important role in the space industry. This paper is about the system design of a ۳U Cubesat, According to the requirementsof the Cubesat design based on system approach for defined mission in this paper, the accuracy of imaging is ۱۰۰ meters and from a altitude of ۶۰۰kilometres above the ground, as well as the imaging bandwidth of ۵۰ kilometres in each passage. According to the statistical information obtained in thispaper and also the study of similar samples, considering that the mission of the Cubesat is photography, it is necessary for the Cubesat to be able tophotograph different parts of the earth and therefore from the polar orbit and the sun synchronous orbit is used because the Cubesat needs to be inconstant light relative to the earth, which is a feature of the sun synchronous orbit. For achieving the requirements which are mentioned above, there aresubsystems including electrical power, communication, propulsion, on-board date handling computer, structure, thermal control and attitudedetermination and control system (ADCS). In the conceptual design of a Cubesat, many factors must be considered. In this paper, the overall design of aCubesat is stated by considering the components and launcher selection.
