Abstract:
This article discusses the necessity of workplace safety and the protection of construction project members. Failure to comply with HSE (health, safety, and environment) regulations for construction sites not only undermines safety protocols but also can reduce work efficiency and create new costs. The construction industry has always been one of the most dangerous industries, and about one hundred and fifty thousand injuries occur annually on construction sites. Given that construction injuries include the most common work-related accidents, they rank first in the accident pyramid. The results of this article showed that hiring a safety manager for a construction project can have incredibly positive effects on reducing injuries.
