Abstract:
Introduction: Sudden Cardiac Death in Young people is always mysterious and modern imaging techniques help to find and prevent mortality and major morbidity. But there is more unknown cause and need further investigation and awareness for better management of SCD.Report Patient: A ۲۶-years old man presented to ER with Sudden Cardiac Arrest and asystole in his first medical contact. There is a medical record due to healed SARS-COV infection ۲month earlier. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation continued until the patient had a pulse and ECG showed ST-segment Elevation in anteroseptal (shark type STEMI) with reciprocal change in the inferolateral wall. The patient arrest was repeated and did not respond to resuscitation. The first medical contact patient had no pulse and monitoring showed asystole. CPR was initiated and the patient was intubated, after ۳۰ minutes of effective compression patient had a pulse, ECG was Obtained, and Showed ST-Segment elevation in anteroseptal with reciprocal change in inferolateral. Echocardiography showed Normal Left ventricular size and severe systolic dysfunction. The catheterization laboratory was activated but the patient arrest was repeated and did not respond to resuscitation. Conclusion: Although there are multiple differential diagnoses for sudden cardiac Arrest, the Main trigger is also important. We think early cardiovascular examination could help to prevent some of these conditions so Death due to sudden cardiac arrest is not common, however possible, in COVID-۱۹ patients. It is recommended to examine and monitor COVID-۱۹ patients’ cardiac conditions to identify at-risk individuals.
