Abstract:

Abstract. Autism spectrum disorder is a group of developmental disorders that affect a child's ability to communicate and interact with others. These complications are called spectrum because they have different types and symptoms and include Asperger's syndrome. There is no cure for autism, but early intervention and timely treatment can be very effective. Since no two people with autism are alike and the impact of autism on their lives is different, people should not speculate about their needs and abilities. Autism is a disorder that is affecting more and more children. It is a developmental nerve disorder with a wide range of symptoms that is divided into two main categories. Disruption of communication and social interactions and behavioral patterns, limited or repetitive interests or activities. This disorder affects a person's communication skills and proper response and causes severe impairment in children's social skills and cognitive and psychological actions. Existing research has shown that this unknown disorder results in the brain failing to function properly in social behaviors and communication skills, so increasing social skills and expanding the social development of children with autism is an essential component of therapeutic interventions. Relying on the review method and using the research done in this field, we will further investigate the role of social cognition in this disorder.
