Abstract:
In this paper a new approach to derivation of ideal proportional navigation IPN is presented the closed form solution of the capture regioin of three-dimensional IPN is then derived for the first engagement and positive initial closing velocity and against maneuvering and nonmaneuvering targets moreover the solution of launch envelope for high off-boresight angle is obtained and descussed.
