Abstract:
Today, microgrids are mentioned as the main pillars of a smart grid, so they are in the focus of researchers and experts. If the operation of microgrids is well defined, implemented and operational, the way will be paved for the development of smart grids as soon as possible. In this paper, an energy management system of microgrid is presented. The proposed MG consists of wind turbine (WT), micro-turbine (MT), batteries energy storage system (BESS), and different loads. Based on this framework, the strategy proposed for three level using Java Agent Development framework (JADE) and The system components are modeled and implemented using MatLab/Simulink software environment. The proposed strategy is implemented based on the multi agent systems using Particle swarm optimization algorithm for minimizing the MG’s utilization costs with power reduction loads and optimized generation of each DERs and BESS in the MG. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed framework is verified using a series of simulations
