Abstract:

Today, with the increase of various constructions around the world, the production and consumption of cement has also increased significantly. For the production of cement, in addition to the need to consume fossil fuels and waste energy, a large amount of carbon dioxide gas is released every year. In order to prevent the increase of pollution and air warming, finding a suitable substitute for cement is on the agenda of researchers. Therefore, research on natural and artificial pozzolans and geopolymer is being done. One of the ways to produce environmentally friendly concrete is to reduce the consumption of Portland cement and use pozzolans as an alternative. Pozzolans are siliceous or siliceous-aluminum materials that are effective as a supplement to ordinary Portland cement in increasing the adhesive properties of concrete.
