Abstract:

In the examination of the elements in the chemical composition of Hardox ۴۰۰ wearresistant steel, elements such as carbon, nickel, silicon, manganese, chromium,molybdenum, phosphorus, sulfur, and boron can be mentioned. The presence of theseelements in the composition of the Hardox ۴۰۰ steel has given it a very high uniformity,hardness, and strength. Using this steel in structures significantly reduces their weightand wear. In research Hardox ۴۰۰ was subjected to severe plastic deformation (SPD) bythe equal channel angular process (ECAP) in three passes at room temperature with ashear friction coefficient of ۲.۰ and a mandrel speed of ۱.۵ mm. s-۱. The simulation wasdone using Abaqus software. The results showed that by increasing the number ofpasses, the effect process on improving the mechanical behavior of Hardox ۴۰۰ steelincreases.
