Abstract:
Noise is an indispensable component oftelecommunication and electronic systems and in some fields ithas a remarkable effect on information and changes them. Sothe scientists try to reduce the noise in systems by using variousalgorithms. One of noise removal areas, e.g. noise reduction ofstatic gray scale images shall be analysed and discussed in thispaper. There are various types of noise, each has a specialeffect on image and a special algorithm is suggested forremoval of each noise. One of noises is additive salt and peppernoise considered as an impulse noise. Integrating two Methodsof Adaptive Median Filter and Trilateral Filter, we have triedhere to improve the removal capability of this special kind ofnoise with various densities observing a better result incomparison with other algorithms.
