Abstract:
In this study, Ethanorm ۴۰-۲۰۰ centrifugal pump is subjected to numerical analysis, whichgeometry was produced by SolidWorks and CFTurbo software. in order to increase thehydraulic efficiency in variables B۱,B۲ and b۲. The generation of the mesh and boundary layerwas created by ICEM and Ansys Mesh software. Validation of the numerical analysis with theoptimal point of the manufacturer's design contains a difference of ۲.۲%. ۳ effective variablesin the impeller were selected at ۴ levels. Orthogonal arrays were formed with the Taguchialgorithm and ۱۶ pump models were suggested. The results show an increase in the hydraulicefficiency of ۴.۲۸% plus.
