Technical and practical investigation of capacitor voltage transformer in high voltage substations

Each unit of capacitive voltage transformer consists of a large number of oil-insulated capacitive elements that are connected in series. In this article, capacitor voltage transformer is introduced and analyzed with technical and practical specifications. Then the challenges and solutions of installation, testing and commissioning of this equipment with complete specifications in the electrical industry will be examined. Finally, the importance of capacitor voltage transformer in all power stations will be reviewed and analyzed for measurement application and PLC communication
