Investigation of wireless sensor networks andanalysis of security threats of wireless sensornetworks

A wireless sensor network is a network that has a large number of sensors and collects informationabout the physical environment in detail. These sensors are usually small in size, low in power, low inprocessing power, and low in cost. Wireless sensor networks are used in various fields such asmilitary, health care and industrial applications. Sensor networks are a new generation of networksthat usually consist of a large number of cheap nodes and the communication of these nodes is donewirelessly. The main goal in these networks is to collect information about the environment aroundthe network sensors. The general functioning of these networks is that the nodes collect the requiredinformation and then send them to the receiver. These small sensors, which have the ability toperform actions such as receiving different environmental information (based on the type of sensor,processing and sending that information), have led to the emergence of an idea to create and expandnetworks known as wireless sensor networks (WSN). Currently, wireless sensor networks are one ofthe active research topics in computer science and communication, and every year countlessworkshops and conferences are held in this field. In this article, the meaning of wireless sensornetworks was discussed first, and then the key services that each network provides. The wirelesssensor must have it. In general, any network that is connected with data and information needsacceptable security for users.
