Abstract:

The ups and downs in the history of the development of solid fuel rockets have been the result of various technological innovations, especially in the field of manufacturing and production of solid fuel compounds. The process of optimizing these rockets almost stopped when the maximum efficiency of the fuel made of black powder was reached. But at the beginning of the ۲۰th century, with the use of new compounds such as nitroglycerin, another spark was fired in the evolution of solid fuel rockets. But only when the ability to produce homogeneous solid fuel was achieved, the industry of making solid fuel rockets with favorable and effective quality was truly formed. But the construction of the first V-۲ liquid fuel rocket in Germany showed that in terms of strategic equations of range and destruction power, solid fuel rockets are still not competitive with liquid fuel types. The development of the German Rheinbote ۴-stage solid fuel rocket with a range of ۱۷۰ km around the same time and its poor performance further undermined the idea of building larger solid fuel rockets. After the Second World War, various factors continued to work to confirm the performance and stabilize the position of liquid fuel rockets. According to Mashreq, the combination of oxygen and alcohol provided far more propulsion than the solid fuels of that time, while liquid fuels with higher capabilities were being tested and satisfactory results were observed
