Abstract:
In this project, a simple and low-cost method for extraction of dimenhydrinate (DIM) from human blood serum and pharmaceutical tablet is reported. The proposed method is based on dispersive solid-phase extraction (DSPE) by modified graphene oxide (GO) sorbent. Rosemary infusion polyphenols are polymerized in the presence of amino acid lysine and formaldehyde and functionalize the surface of GO. The analysis of the extracted DIM was performed with a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) equipped with a UV/Vis detector. The results of the work evaluation led to the achievement of a linear range of ۱-۴۰۰ μg/L, the detection limit (LOD) of ۰.۵۴ μg/L, and the correlation coefficients (R۲) of ۰.۹۹۷ for target analyte. The recoveries (۹۲.۱-۱۰۱.۰%) obtained from the analysis of the real samples indicate the high accuracy of the method and the absence of the matrix effect.
