Abstract:

Narrating the life of colonized Mexican people , Silko depicts the conditions of people in the life of Tayo, the main hero of novel . In the different ways, Tayo has illustrated the concept of Nada. Nada is a Spanish - Portuguese word signifying "nothing", utilized in English with a similar importance. The idea of Nada establishes one of the focal subjects of Hemingway's epic A Farewell to Arms. In this novel Nada is represented by obscurity or demise. Hemingway's code legends attempt to dodge this 'nothing' or the inundating cynicism.
