Abstract:

Mycobacterium tuberculosis and non-tuberculous mycobacteria are intracellular pathogens that involve the lungs and upper respiratory system, causing acute or chronic respiratory tract infections. The aim of this study is to comprehensively investigate the level of expression of Mir-۳۰۲a/b in Mycobacterium tuberculosis and non-tuberculous.This study was a case-control type and the results were compared between two groups of patients and healthy. Samples were collected from ۴۰۰ people suspected of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and non-tuberculous mycobacterium infection during a one-year period from patients referred to the National Tuberculosis Reference Laboratory of Masih Daneshvari Hospital, and after extracting Mir-۳۰۲a/b, its expression was measured using the Real Time PCR method was investigated. There was no significant difference in serum expression of Mir-۳۰۲a/b gene in PPD-negative subjects with symptoms, but in smear-positive and PPD-negative subjects, PPD-positive and smear-negative subjects, smear-positive and PPD-positive subjects, there was a significant increase in Mir-۳۰۲a/b gene expression. These results require more accurate diagnostic methods and confirm molecular methods in the diagnosis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and non-tuberculosis Mycobacterium; Because late diagnosis of infection can destroy the chance of effective treatment and endanger people's lives. Also, considering the relationship between Mir-۳۰۲a/b and this infection, Mir-۳۰۲a/b inhibitors can also be used to treat the disease.
