Abstract:

Due to the importance of increasing diseases caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis worldwide, we have conducted a study to evaluate the genome of these diseases in our region. The aim of this study is to investigate the genomic TB۱۹c in Mycobacterium tuberculosis.This descriptive study was conducted on ۹,۰۰۰ samples isolated from patients with pulmonary tuberculosis symptoms between ۱۳۹۰ and ۱۴۰۲ at the Mycobacteriology Research Center. To identify mycobacterium species, a bp۱۹۰ fragment of IS۶۱۱۰ gene was first amplified using Tb۲ and Tb۱ primers. The samples that had a negative PCR result based on IS۶۱۱۰ were analyzed in order to investigate non-tuberculous mycobacteria using hsp۶۵ gene by PCR-RFLP method.From all ۹۰۰۰ samples, ۱۲۴ NTM strains were identified, which were very significant in terms of TB۱۹c genome. The average age of the studied NTM patients was ۵۷±۱۸.۹ years (with an age range of ۷-۸۸ years), and the majority of these patients (۵۵.۶%) were male.In this study, we observed a high prevalence of mycobacteria among patients. Due to the fact that the treatment protocol based on TB۱۹c genome examination is different in the case of mycobacteria, so the diagnosis of these species as soon as possible will be of significant importance for doctors.
