Barium Titanate Nanopowders Synthesized Through a One-Pot Combustion Synthesis Technique abstract

Barium Titanate nanopowders are widely utilized in data storage applications, ceramics, electronic devices, commuting processors, dynamic holography, and so many other applications. In this study, a nanopowder of barium titanate (BT) has been synthesized through a one-pot combustion method. Following the propellant chemistry theory, the molar ratio of reactants including Ba(NO3)2, TiO(NO3)2, and C2H5O2N material was obtained with the 1:1:2.222. The prepared powders were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis. The crystallite size of as-prepared BT and calcined BT was obtained at 31.8 and 35 nm, respectively using the Debye Scherrer formula. Our results demonstrate the prepared barium titanate synthesized with our method has a pure phase and there I no need for any high-temperature heating or calcination.
