Abstract:
For encountering lateral forces and also earthquake forces, various systems are considered. One of theseoptions is dual systems which includes a combination of moment frame and another resistant system. Inthis study, non-linear static analysis was utilized on ۱۵, ۲۵ and ۴۰-store samples in the limited elementsoftware ABAQUS for investigating various parameters. We considered the samples including two momentframe system in combination with steel shear wall and macro bracings with this assumption that steelconsumption rate is equal in both states. The investigated parameters include final strength, elasticitystiffness, yield load, ductility factor, over- strength factor and behavior factor. The results of performedanalyses show that generally by increasing the altitude due to more impressment of bending on behavior ofsteel shear walls system, the rate of reduction of rigidity, ductility and behavior factor in steel shear wallsystem is more than macro-bracings
