Abstract:
The primary aim of this study was to explore the effectiveness of using games in teaching grammar toyoung learners from the view points of Iranian EFL teachers working in primary schools. Englishlanguage teachers‟ (n=۱۵) opinions were collected through a questionnaire and the results of this studydemonstrated that Iranian EFL teachers have a range of conceptions about using games in grammarteaching similar to those reported in the current literature. The study suggests that while Iranian EFLteachers accept the effectiveness of using games in grammar teaching, they do not use games asfrequently as expected in their classrooms
