A survey on Ichneumonidae of Isfahan province, central Iran

Fauna of Ichneumonidae of Isfahan province was studied in ۲۰۱۲. Specimens were collected using sweep net and Malaise trap on various plants from different places in Isfahan. Totally, ۱۸ species belong to ۱۶ genera and ۷ subfamilies were collected and identified as: Anomalon cruentatum (Geoffroy, ۱۷۸۵) (Anomaloninae); Exetastes syriacus Schmiedeknecht, ۱۹۱۰ (Banchinae); Diplazon laetatorius (Fabricius, ۱۷۸۱), Enizemum ornatum (Gravenhorst, ۱۸۲۹), Homotropus nigritarsus (Gravenhorst, ۱۸۲۹), Homotropus signatus (Gravenhorst, ۱۸۲۹), Promethes sulcator (Gravenhorst, ۱۸۲۹) and Syrphophilus bizonarius (Gravenhorst, ۱۸۲۹) (Diplazontinae); Anisobas cingulatellus Horstmann, ۱۹۹۷, Diadromus collaris (Gravenhorst, ۱۸۲۹), Heterischnus filiformis (Gravenhorst, ۱۸۲۹) and Spilothyrateles nuptatorius (Fabricius, ۱۷۹۳) (Ichneumoninae); Exochus castaniventris Brauns, ۱۸۹۶ (Metopiinae); Itoplectis alternans (Gravenhorst, ۱۸۲۹), Itoplectis tunetana (Schmiedeknecht, ۱۹۱۴), Pimpla spuria Gravenhorst, ۱۸۲۹ and Zaglyptus multicolor (Gravenhorst, ۱۸۲۹) (Pimplinae) and Aneuclis incidens (Thomson, ۱۸۸۹) (Tersilochinae). All species are new record for Isfahan province except for Exochus castaniventris and Heterischnus filiformis is newly recorded from Iran.
