Abstract:

Virtual rapport and counseling are regarded as a crucial component ofthe educational process because it significantly improves communicationbetween the student, advisor, and educational institution as a whole,ensuring the clear delivery of scientific subjects and resolving anypotential study-related challenges. With respect to differences in academiclevel, the researcher designed this study to ascertain the reality of virtualrapport and counseling from the perspective of students at EnglishDepartment/ College of Education for women/ University of Baghdad/Iraq.  students made up the study sample. The study instrument wasused to collect data, which was then processed using frequencies, averages,and t-tests. The findings showed that while respondents were generallysatisfied with the use of virtual rapport and counseling in higher education,student adoption of this type of advising was very low. This is becausesome barriers prevented students from benefiting from the use of electronicacademic advising in higher education.In all areas of the questionnaire, the results generally showed nosignificant variations between respondents in terms of gender, specialty, oracademic level.
