Abstract:
Among the various biotic constraints, stripe rust is known to cause significant losses in grain yield and quality of wheat. In this study, out of ۲۰ varieties evaluated, WH-۱۱۰۵, WH-۱۱۲۱, WH-۱۱۲۴, WH-۱۱۴۲, VL-۸۰۴, VL-۹۰۷, HS-۲۴۰ were found to be resistant; RSP-۵۶۱, Raj-۳۷۶۵, PBW-۶۶۴, PBW-۵۹۰ were moderately resistant; Raj-۳۰۷۷, PBW-۳۷۳, PBW-۱۷۵, PBW-۵۲۷, PBW-۶۲۱, HS-۴۹۰ were moderately susceptible, and PBW-۳۴۳, PBW-۵۵۰,HD-۲۹۶۷ were susceptible. Rust progressive curve had the highest value of ۲,۳۷۷.۴۲ during ۲۰۱۴/۲۰۱۵ due to conducive environmental conditions, while in ۲۰۱۵/۲۰۱۶, it was ۲۴۵۹.۴.The disease severity ranged from ۱.۰ to ۱۵.۳۰% at ۱۰thof February in ۲۰۱۴/۲۰۱۵, while this range in ۲۰۱۵/۲۰۱۶ was ۱.۰ to ۱۳.۳۹%. The highest yield (۴۴.۹۵ q ha-۱) was found in the plot treated with two sprays of Tilt @ ۰.۱% followed by two sprays of Folicur (۴۳.۴۷ q ha-۱) and Bayleton @۰.۰۱% (۴۳.۲ q ha-۱), respectively. Two sprays of Tilt (۰.۰۱ %) at ۱۵ days interval gave minimum disease severity i.e. ۴.۰۳% followed by Folicur (۵.۲۹%) and Bayleton @ ۰.۰۱% (۸.۹۰%). The yield increased up to ۳۴.۶۰% when treated with two sprays of Tilt (۰.۰۱%) at ۱۵ days interval.
