Abstract:

This paper presents a grid connectedphotovoltaic (PV) power supply, which acts as a flexibledistributed generation (FDG) that injects maximumavailable power of PV array and compensates loadharmonics with unbalanced and harmonic source voltage.In this paper a new formulation of p-q theory that suitsunbalanced and harmonic source voltage and simplemethod for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) areused as reference current generator. Finally simulation isperformed by PSCAD/EMTDC software, and results arepresented to demonstrate satisfactory performance ofdescribed system.
