Abstract:
Having electricity with high quality is one of themore important aims in electrical systems. Disturbances indistribution systems can change voltage waveform. There aresome methods to prepare high power quality for sensitive loads.In this research, we use Dynamic Voltage Restorer tocompensate the harmful effects of disturbances on voltage. In thispaper a fairly novel adaptive method which is based on decidingon the basis of emotions is introduced. This adaptive methodwhich is inspired by human brain learning nature, has been usedas self- tuning PI controller. In order to show and investigate theefficiency of proposed algorithm, the results obtained fromperformance of the proposed controller, has been compared bythose of conventional PI controller.
