Abstract:

Theoretical and numerical analysis of transient and turbulent heat transfer in concentric annuli has been the subject of many recent studies . neat transfer far low Prandtl number ('lieuid metal, fluids flowing in a concentric circular tube annulus with prescribed wall heat flue: end tempera cure are investigated numerically using finite difference method . Dara based on transition and turbulent flows, leads to predictions of the Nusselt number and temperature distribution in cross section. The results are in basic agreement wirh predictions obtained on the basis of earlier methods or experimental results.
