Abstract:

Pcos. The most common endocrine disorders in women and the most common cause of infertility is due to lack of ovulationThe goal of treatment. Returning the normal activity of the ovaries and establishing hormonal balance and creating fertility without the use of hormonal stimulants and assisted reproductive methods.ObjectiveThe effectiveness of lifestyle change on treatment of PCOS and fertilityMethodologyMrs. Maryam Ahmadi (age: ۲۸, weight: ۸۴ kg, height: ۱۶۵ cm) presented with symptoms such as irregular menstruations every ۶ months, hair loss and failure to conceive after one year of unprotected sex.Ultrasound results showed abnormal enlargement of ovaries (۱۵ cc in the left ovary and ۱۶ cc in the right ovary)The patient was subjected to lifestyle change treatment, and received training on bedtime adjustment and stress control. She was prescribed a diet prohibiting sugar and lump sugar, limiting intake of carbohydrates and dairy products, increasing protein intake, prohibiting preservatives, and free intake of nuts, fresh vegetables, and sprouts, especially wheat and mung bean sprouts. The patient received training on uterus and ovaries massage with chamomile oilFindingsAfter three months of treatment, the patient's menstruation cycles started to become regular. After trying to conceive without receiving stimulants, the patient became pregnant with twins. The patient is currently ۳۴ weeks pregnant, and the health of both fetuses has been confirmed.ConclusionDue to the fact that Follicle-stimulating hormones pose considerable risks in women with PCOS and lifestyle-change treatment is recognized as a low-risk and low-cost treatment contributing to recovery of similar cysts, this treatment is recommended for patients.SourceNovak ۲۰۲۰
