Abstract:
In recent years, the synthesis of titanium dioxide(TiO۲) nanoparticle has attained great attentiondue to its chemical stability, biocompatibility, photocatalytic reactivity, strong oxidizing powerand low cost. In order to protect nanoparticles from aggregation, to manipulate the optical,electronic and catalytic properties, as well as to control interfacial properties, nanoparticles aregenerally capped by an organic layer. A novel preparation method for nanocrystalline titaniumdioxide using an aromatic capping agent was introduced in this paper. XRD results exhibited thatthe obtained nanoparticles composed of anatase phase
